i remember being in a s2000 a few years before i got mine and there was a pass through into the trunk via the center console. i have yet to this day see another one. does any year have that or was this something custom????

 

It had to be something custom. No MY S2000 has that feature as stock.

just take out the interior...

 

Or cut out the back wall of the cubby (and secret compartment) and make your own.

When would you need to reach into the trunk from the inside? If anything, i could only see it as causing the stuff in the center console to fall into the trunk.

 

He would probably end up being blocked by the bulkhead.

 

But even if you did get through the bulkhead.. you would still have to contend with both the gas tank and the spare tire to get to the trunk area.


Seems to be a completely worthless idea to me.
