central lock for the mid console?
You may want to check out this mod: http://www.baustnet.com/honda/mods/trunksw/trunksw.htm
It will make the trunk swtich only operate when the accessory power is on. It's very simple to do with minimal cost.

Technically it must be so easy, I bet there is a manufacturer - supplier - of who would not mind to sell few thousands more of these to s2k community...

I'd be happy knowing that others could benefit from this too.
You might do a search on remote garage door openers from headlights. There's a guy who wired his garage door opener under the hood with minimal out of pocket and a relatively easy mod. I'm thinking about doing this with mine.
My roommate took a quick look at it and he said that based on the type of lock, he doesn't believe its possible to do. He said he'd take a closer look when the weather is a bit better... but he said I doubt it can be done the way you guys want it.
He was like sure, I could make it open with a button (on the remote), but you'd still need the key to unlock it.

Yeah, because the factory locking mechanism is self-contained and just grabs the hook on the inside of the console door. That's why I was suggesting another separate locking mechanism. You would just leave the console unlocked all the time, and then a solenoid or something would prevent it from opening while the car is off.
