The dealership should take care of it, no worries for yet, unless they say no, and then Honda NA should fix it. Not a big deal. Enjoy your car, in one of my favorite color combos!

I bought mine CPO too - it was missing the tonneau cover and the valet key. The dealer promised the items to me, and I got the cover, but over a year later and I'm still waiting on the valet key. In the end, I just don't realy care about it though as I never used them on other cars.

As for the extended warranty, it should come with a CPO car already, so I don't see why you have to buy it. Even so, I'd have them throw it in with the car - that's what I did.

EMIL: I agree w. you that i bought a used car, which is why at first i never said anything to the dealer about the missing items....then i started reading up.

Saki: The tonneau is supposed to come w. the car new ? heh, if so i'm gona make another call over to my Honda buddy.

what is the etched S2000 key supposed to look like? mine just has an 'H' on it...nothing that says 'S2000'.

edit: i'm the 3rd owner, that's why i ask.

That is just - insane.

A theft-deterrent in the key keeps people from jacking your car, but allows the dealer to jack your wallet. Nice.
