Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor

Can you swap the TPMS sensors to the new wheels? Someone with a new S will chime in....

they keep adding random stuff that just makes modding more intrusive. who needs a TPMS? is it that hard to go around and use a gauge to check it yourself once a week?

I am not sure if the Euro spec ones have a TPMS or not, but thats what I read!! Probabaly would be easier to go to the garage and pull a wheel out and check first. But what am I looking for exactly?

MY08 and above including the CR have TPMS. It is a federally mandated requirement by 2010 all vehicles sold must have a TPMS. Car manufacturer's, like Honda are starting to take initiative and begin impamenting the system into their new vehicles. All Honda and Acura models 2008+ have TPMS

I purchased BBS LM's and the TPMS sensors would not fit. The drill hole has to be bigger in the rim you purchase (I can't remember the exact size).

I have the BBS' mounted and the TPMS error light hasn't even lit on the dash.

I would change wheels and ignore the TPMS sensors. If you swap them out that is fine, but if you buy another set of TPMS sensors for your summer rims, like I originally wanted to do, you have to go to the dealer and have them synchronized to the car. Not worth the $50-$100 the will charge you in my opinion. They are not self-learning like the TPMS system on the Ridgeline.
