Default changing the clutch

I have about 21k miles on my car and I think the clutch is close to giving out. Where should I go to change it and how much u think it'll cost? I don't time/track it so I think a stock clutch will do fine.

If your dealer sold alot S2000 and do maintenance and repair alot S2000 go there.

They changed mine last week + all bearings in transmission and new pressure plate to get rid of the decel buzzz.

Tehy spend 38 hours on my car , hopefully it was under warranty exept for the pressure plate and clucth

Total of the repair 6500$!!
my dealer never did a cluct transmission on a S2000 thats why they too so much time
I abused alot of my car last summer im very lucky to paid only 515$ from my pocket !

good luck !

Going on 62K on OEM, replacing when I put the vortech in.

If I were to take it to get it installed, either a well known dealer or a VERY reputable shop.

Honda charges $1100 for the clutch, which is about 8 hours of work.. or so they claim.

But since I work there, I dug up the instruction files or whatever they call it on their computer and found out that Honda is SUPPOSED to charge 5.2 hrs despite the fact that it really does take a whole day's work.

You might be able to argue with them.

I paid $165 for my clutch installation at Honda.. The service manager said I can pay whatever he pays the tech.. which is $30/hr.

hehehehhehe
