i am with amica and pretty happy with them. low rates. my family (large family) has ameriprise (say your a costco member to get a discount) and they are pretty happy with them. they just paid out 3700 for repair (bucket of paint spilled and got all over the lower body, mainly removing of panels, detailing needed to fix) without any hesitation to my uncles black SUV. i looked into wawanesa, but something stopped me from switching over. i think it may have been the towing/ roadside assistance package. but even then, it was maybe a $100.00 difference.

USAA for the win!

If i find a new quote from another insurance company they will fight to keep me by reducing their price.

I'm 25 paying 120/month which is pretty low for the age with full coverage.

Insurance companies share information. They also get your credit history and driving record, so don't think that having an accident and suddenly switching to another company will drop your rates.

I am a 24 SWM, a few accidents, and pay about $119/mo with State Farm. That's for 250/100/250, 100 comp, 1000 coll. I'm getting the mutli-car discount since my roommate is with SF too, and discounts for multi-policy (renter's insurance) and extended good student (3.0 or better in college and under 25). The car is principally garaged in a town with very low crime and accident rates too.

i got a fat italian dude that eats from the kitchen of an italian joint covering me for insurance.
he said i don't have to worry about any paper work or insurance cards.
if i ever get into an accident, his guys will take care of everything.
and if i ever run into people with road rage he said he has guys that can take care of that too.
at least that what i think he said. it was pretty hard to understand him with that thick accent and deep slurry voice.
but i think i can trust him. he looks well financed. lots of big guys and one skinny guy in suits always around him.
he doesn't do anything over the phone or internet. everything is face to face in what he refered to as a "sit down". now there's customer service. i never felt so important.
my cousin vinny hooked me up with the guy.

i have one minor at fault accident from 3 years back and 2 tickets. you can get deals if you shop around.

Stop with the USAA rates. It's nice and all but it's simply not relevant for most people since it is only available to the military and their families.
