Default cheapest hardtop option?

what are my options for going hardtop as cheap as possible.
my soft top got slashed, and i dont trust the neighborhood around school anymore.
the options that arise are hardtop it or sell it.

as you can see i have it up for sale, but after a quick drive, i am considering a hardtop before i part with my baby.

Same thing happened to me. I had my soft top slashed, so i opted to get a hardtop so i wouldn't have to worry about something like that happening again.

I bought mine brand new from Desert Honda in Las Vegas for $2600 a few months ago. Not sure if there's anything cheaper out there, but i had a great experience with Desert Honda, fast shipping and top was in perfect condition. Would definitely recommend

$2600 is a VERY good price... My local dealer in SoCal said $3499 when I first asked them about OEM hardtop. I wound up paying $2900, and it arrived only FIVE days after ordering it from the same dealership.

If you do get the top and are annoyed by squeaks and rattles, the fix is well documented here at S2KI:

as far as price goes, i think a used OEM would be your best bet.

Look around for a used OEM. I found one on Craigslist for $1500. I went and looked at it and it had been laid upsidedown on a shelf. It had a couple of lite scratches on it so I got the guy to come down to $900. Don't expect to find one that cheap but I have seen them for $1500-$1800.

I spent 1420 out the door (including all mounting hardware - and upgraded strikers since I have an 01, paint, and tint)
