only have 2700 miles on my s2k and the check engine light is on. i'm taking the car to honda in the morning but was wondering if any of u guys had this problem before. thanks.

 

Check to make sure you gas cap is tight.

 

It could be something as simple as a misfire on the sparkplug. it happened to me and then after about 30 or 40 miles it went off. I still got it checked out and it was a misfire. It also could be the coils.... which are under warranty.

The same thing happened to me!!! Guess what it was?.. I had completly forgot to put the gas cap back on. I was so excited to get back in my car and that happened. It was like my second fill-up, though. That's still no excuse.
The check engine light came on, but then it went off after a couple days.
Get it checked, buddy....

 

Took it to Honda and turns out that i did have a misfire on one of the spark plugs. Hey Paulie, did u have anymore problems after you got that fixed? Well my Honda dealer don't know why I'm having these problems so i won't get an answer untill maybe Monday. Thanks guys for all the help. miss my car already .

 

I also have engine light come on at 3500 km. I bring back to dealer, They told me one electronic control valve to control the air pump was broken. They change it and is under warranty. Right now is ok!
I also have EPS light come on at 350km, no power steering, bring back to dealer, they reset it and is ok now. But that make me so scare about the car!!!
