Default Check Engine Light

As of tonight, my car just turned over 2000 miles. I made a round trip drive from Philadelphia to Boston this weekend. As I am nearing the end of my journey to Boston on Saturday, the check engine light comes on. It stays on till the evening hours. Then goes away. Near the end of my trip from Boston to Philadelphia Sunday evening, the check engine light comes on again. I haven't checked if it shut off. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? My car is bone stock. I use 93 octane fuel. The only thing that happened on the way up to Boston, I hit fuel cut when I was late shifting from 2nd to 3rd. Other then that, everything was fine.

Sounds like nothing major to me. I'll probably get it fixed (under warranty), just so the CEL does not come back on again.
