hello. do you have a pic of the air pump? jst got me s2k and the cel is on. i check the code and it says 60. something to do with the air pump, i want to fix it myself but i dont know what it looks like. thanks.
please create a new thread in the Under The Hood forum, and post the EXACT code. (it should start with P something) if you need the code pulled, go to any autozone or something, and they can pull the code for you.

until you do that, no one here can tell you what your problem is or how to fix it.

Kathy, the service representative called me at 4:00 telling me that they'll have to continue troubleshooting tomorrow. According to the dealer, the computer diagnostics is pointing to the "air pump"? Any ideas on this guys? Anyway, my schedule won't allow me to bring it back til mid next week. Oh well. She said it's drivable.

please ignore some of the bad advice you were given above. (Utah S2k gave you good info though) at the moment, you obviously have the car at a dealership. there's nothing more any of us need to tell you for anything. they have access to the same helms and service manual we do. they have pulled the code, and the manual lists the step by step actions that needed to be taken to isolate and solve the problem with the air pump.

in the future, if you get a CEL like this, go to any autozone, etc, and have them pull the code. (again, starts with P something) then, create a thread in the Under The Hood forum (that's what it's there for) and post the code.

pull the code and you'll know. could be anything from improperly tightened fuel cap to a new engine.
