Default Check engine light after installing CAI

I just bought an MY01 about 2 days ago. I installed an Injen CAI. Drove the car home last night everything was ok.

About an hour ago I started the car. It idled at about 2000 RPM for 30 seconds then dropped to about 1000 RPM. THen the CEL came on.

Why would it do that? How do I get the check engine light off?

Your vacuum lines were re-connected improperly.

Hmmm, check and make sure all the vacuum lines were connected properly.

Damn! I thought I was going to be of help here but you guys are quick

Make sure the white inline valve is connected in the right direction on the vacuum lines. It's hard to tell without looking closely between pictures and comparing to how you actually connected it. It is a one-way valve.

Don't expect the CEL to shut itself immediately off automatically either without resetting the computer by disconnecting ECU power or using a OBD computer.

Thanks Guys! I'll be installing the Berk testpipe over the weekend. I hope nothing goes wrong with that.
