I got this message today after fueling. Obvious thing I did was check the cap, open it and close it again. It still flashing what to do? Is it because I pump arco?

 

It can take a few drive cycles to clear. The brand of gas won't affect that indicator.

 

p1456, just every time you drive keep making sure the gas cap is tight. i probably should get a new gas cap but i can just delete the CEL code, it's more convenient for now. eventually i'll make my way down to honda...

 

I used to get this all the time on my ap1 when I had it. I eventually just got tired of it and bought a new fuel cap from Autozone for $9. Never had the problem again.

 

Same here I've had it twice. I always make sure that I tighten it but sometimes it gets loose somehow. Havent had it pop up in awhile though otherwise I wouldve gotten a new cap already
