Default Check gas cap

Well today I start the s2k up and it says check the gas cap, so I did. Nothing, I tried restarting twice, same thing. Is this a common problem? anyone know? The check engine light is not on though.

You have to drive on it for a few miles. Mine did the same thing when I first got it.

I think it's ap2.5 and up as SheDrivesIt mentioned.

Tighten the gas cap and you should be fine.

Geez, they really are catering to the American consumers (who don't read owner's manuals) with each subsequent generation.

I'm waiting for the AP3 with the 6k redline, auto tranny, and the tire minder that tells you that your tires are too bald....
