has anyone ever heard of this before?? This guy is selling a 2001 S2000 engine and tranny.......but he claims it is a jdm with a 5 speed

and then specifies that it is not a 6 speed. I had no idea anything like this had been made. Is it bs?

Could very well be a JDM S2000 engine and just some 5-spd that will bolt up to the engine. I would imagine that the 6-spd in the S2000 isn't the only tranny in the Honda line that will bolt up to the engine...

Sounds like bs to me. S2000's don't have a distibutor either... we have individual coils.

The seller is listed in Jacksonville. I didn't see anything listed that told me where the shop physically was. If anyone can find out where the seller actually physically is, I could make a trip over and take a gander.

The is the engine that I am about to buy actually. The buyer is in Jax, which is where my car is.......

I need the head off of it.. argh..

The whole tranny thing wierds me out.
