While that may be true, it has nothing to do with the S. You should have put this in Car Talk.

It does show what a group of people can accomplish on a public forum

Maybe the rear plastic window will get replaced for those with MY00 and 01 to glass. Our forum has been posting a lot of complaints about that issue. Heck, I drive top down 99% of the time. I keep a soft rubber tube covered in fleece and have a fleece liner in the trunk well and mine still looks like crap. It was horrible within the first 60 days!

I am glad to hear that they are doing that. The SS prelude owners should be happy now. They really got this issue to be recoqnized as a problem. I've ditched my Lude because I knew I would have problems with the tranny in the future, this announcement doesn't help me now but it will be good for all those who own defective auto trannies.

Thanks for the post. I have a 2001 CL Type S and had to have the tranny replaced at 28,000 miles. Acura was wonderful although I expected more from the car. It's good to know that it is not just the CL and that I have an extended warranty.
