checking out s2000 for first time
Hey guys, first time poster here. This weekend a buddy of mine has a friend with an silver s2000, that I am going to check out. I have always liked these cars, and I am looking forward to being able to toss it around a couple corners and redline it at 9K (if he lets me drive it (I doubt it, since he doesn't even know me)). Hopefully he will, if I don't get the opportunity to. He's looking forward to checking out my car, also (a 95 Stealth rt/turbo, bone stock except a K & N w/ only 20K miles).
Just for fun, we will probably do a couple runs (should be a really close, interesting race). I'm wondering how my car will do in a highway run with an s2000. Anyways, I just wanted to say what's up, and I will keep you posted on the results of the friendly runs.

i'd say try to convince him to let you at least give it a couple 1st/2nd passes and windy turns.
when my friend let me drive his S2K for a day in exchange for my Prelude, it was great. taking it through the first 4 gears to redline from a dead stop is just amazing. the car just feels like it's an extension of your body. it responds so quickly, and the car, in general, just feels like full body suit.
in comparison to the Prelude, the front cockpit is a bit smaller. the glass seems to sit closer to you which is a little strange at first. but like i said, when you're driving it, the entire car just feels like it's some kind of a high tech full body speed suit. it's an amazing car... haha and i don't even have one yet.
