Hey, if you can - if it is totalled, see if you can have the car crushed. When a car is stripped this clean, the thieves usually warehouse the parts, leave the carcass, and then buy the body at a police auction. Then they put the parts back on, and they have a legal, if not clean, title. Don't let the pr*cks who stripped your car have it and make a profit on it.
It's clean, but look carefully at the engine compartment. The hoses and wire harnesses were cut. I mean, why make their job harder when they have to put it back together?

I'll be watching eBay.

BTW: Cannonbear,

What's the VIN (or last four digits of the VIN)? In the off chance some parts show up and the thieves were careless.

We could stop this by cutting the hand(s) off the thieves the first time we catch them. The second time the penalty is death.

Cannonbear, sorry for your loss. I understand how you feel about getting another Honda. Although the S2000 draws a much older crowd than other Hondas, the parts are still interchangeable with cheaper and older Hondas, which makes it so highly valued in the community of theives. I know that if for some reason my car was stolen and ended up like this, I don't think I'd get another S2000. The "immobilizer" technology is just too outdated.

sorry to be the sore thumb, but can you be a bit more descriptive?

Like how long was the dinner? Where'd you park your car? Parking lot? I"m just in disbelief that it could have taken them so little time to jack your beauty..

Sorry to see this. What a waste of a perfectly good new car.
