I think $1600 each is less than even their cost.

Unless they've found a used set of seats to put into it, I guess.

It probably is just seats, a top, and a radio from a theft, but they have not told the truth about so much on this car, that there are likely other issues.

Is the VIN on the engine matching or within a few digits of the chassis?

I still think that they way it is sold now the 2nd airbag won't work...a HUGE safety issue.

Noticed from the carfax that the car had been repossessed. My guess would be the deadbeat who owned it stripped it before they lost it to sell the parts or just to stick it to the lender. I have an 08. All 08/09 seats have red stitching, solid headrests which are slightly taller than the roll hoops, and the seatbelt guide is attached to the seats. In addition to the seats, antenna and probably the wheels being incorrect, it would not be typical to need a new battery at 12k miles. There is definitely a reason for the low price. Buyer beware.

It could be that an owner, not dealer replaced the seats and the dealer has no idea what seats are supposed to be in there.

$22500 for an 08 with 12.5k miles is an absolutely amazing deal, but like you said, there is a reason. I'd be weary too, but if I was shopping for one, I'd also have a hard time totally walking away from it at that price like the OP is. Still best to walk away though, without knowing what really happened.

I would stay away, wrong seats and wrong antenna, what else is wrong or missing.

It will work fine unless the airbag light is on on the dash. And if the light is on I dont think they can even legally sell it.

unless they took out the LED/bulb.

The 2006+ seats have a weight sensor in them, correct?
