Go with Mugen. It's an amazing exhaust - what Honda should have installed on the S2000 from the factory.

I own the SuperSprint exhaust, looks great on the AP2s, but I don't know if it'll do what you want. Its louder down low, not obnoxiously loud, but certainly noticeably louder. Loud in a good way though with a nice low bassy rumble ... But in VTEC you never really hear it, most of the noise at that point is going to be intake noise anyway ... especially if you have a CAI.

I used to have a soundclip of the SuperSprint exhaust before my old webhost crashed but I haven't been able to find it. I do have a dyno video which might help you out in terms of sound ... will try to look for the dyno vid when I get home from work.

SuperSprint exhaust:
ooooooh me likes...how much? where to get and soundclip? pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees

I have a HKS Hi-power single outlet exhaust....the sound this thing makes is unbleivable...It is loud at WOT, but just cruising around town it is very livable. It emits a nice low toned growl....I'm about to put a test pipe on and see how that changes up the sounds....This exhaust will be for sale around Feb. I will have to have a custom 3" made when my turbo kit is installed...Hope the next exhaust sounds as good as this one.

I still don't understand why for instance a dual 63mm catback exhaust doesn't make as much or more power as a single 70mm catback exhaust? I would think that with two exhaust pipes, the exhaust would be less restrictive than with just one, even if the one outlet is larger than either of the dual's outlets. The combined area of the dual's outlet is still larger than the single's outlet. Am I missing something?

hmmm this may seem un-'plausible' but is there an exhaust that might make my car sound remotely similar to a porsche or exotic car?

from what i've personally heard on other people's cars...

invidia - drone is killer, i swear you will lose your hearing, and losing your hearing is not cool

the stock exhaust is just too friggen quiet and i can't stand it
but with this car's exhaust prices aka $1000 canadian dollars, if i can't get a nice exotic sound i think i'll just stick with stock
