Mugen all the way baby, this is the best you can get, NO DRONE, Lightweight, great looks, and incredible sound, without being too loud. If you want a CLASSY exhaust go with Mugen, else go with the rest.

those Spugen exhaust tips are huge. I've been following this thread and I think i'm gonna go with the Fuji as well.

I was looking through Bulletproofautomotive and they say that the best exhausts when it comes to weight loss is the Veilside tear drop, Top Secret exhaust and the Amuse R1000 Titan.

I own the Amuse r 1000 and it sounds great, at v tec its like a bat out of hell but the cops dont seem to like me driving around.

if you have a low budget you should go with the Fuji, and if you have the cash Top secret is a great choice.

hmmm this may seem un-'plausible' but is there an exhaust that might make my car sound remotely similar to a porsche or exotic car?

from what i've personally heard on other people's cars...

invidia - drone is killer, i swear you will lose your hearing, and losing your hearing is not cool

the stock exhaust is just too friggen quiet and i can't stand it
but with this car's exhaust prices aka $1000 canadian dollars, if i can't get a nice exotic sound i think i'll just stick with stock
Closest thing would be the Supersprint exhaust. From what others have said about my exhaust ... is that it gives it a "euro" sports car sound. Reviews I've read have described the Supersprint exhaust as unique because they seem to be able to very different cars to all sound similar with their exhausts.

There's certainly no way to get it to sound exactly like a porsche, but supersprint (which is an italian company IIRC) will get you closer than any other company I think...

You can buy it right from the s2ki.com store (scroll up, and click on "Market"). Its not cheap though, brand new it runs around $1400 although if you search on google you can find it closer to around $1200 I think.

Sound clips are available on s2000library.com but if I can remember I'll try to post up my dyno.

Yes, we sell it in the S2KI Marketplace. http://marketplace.s2ki.com/s2ki/product.p...18&cat=9&page=1

Price, weight and sound vary depending on whether you choose the resonated center section or the straight through one.

All of the ones we've sold have been with the plain (non-resonated) center section and we've never had anyone tell us it was too loud. Customers tell me it is the closest you will ever get to a European exotic sound with this car. Delivery times are variable though; please don't expect this in time for Christmas

In my opinion, yes. Extremely deep... sounds excellent and have had nothing but great compliments, even from my V8 buddies! I have not heard Supersprint or Fujitsubo in person... but they don't look nearly as good to me (those Fuji cans are huge).

As for the tips being huge... you can't tell, but they come in to be smaller - the tips have a lip on them that caves into the actual pipe.

Here are some video soundclips of Spugen (Dual Oval exhaust):
