Default clear headlight for S2000

I purchased a set of clear S2000 headlights. I have a problem with turn signal socket fitting into the socket hole in the back of the clear headlights. The hole in the back of the clear headlights is to big for the factory turn signal socket . Is there another larger socket available that will work? ALL the other sockets fit. Its just the upper turn signal socket that doesn't. Has anyone else had the same problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Rick

Yes, I have the same problem. I would think that everyone here that has the JDM or Euro housings have the same problem too. Right now, I just taped it on. Works for now, but I'm working on several different sockets for a better fit. Will let everyone know what I find!
I guess the best thing to do is to get the sockets from Japan or Sweden for the BEST fit!

There are definitely numerous threads on clear headlight housing mountings on US-spec cars...

I used a hole-saw to cut out the smaller mounting hole from my US spec housings and epoxy-ed them into the larger European-spec holes... If you don't want to sacrifice a set of housings (I had a bunch of extras so it didn't matter) and want it to be similar: buy/find a small/thin piece of plastic and cut the pattern out with a Dremel... glue that into the larger hole...

Just out of curiosity, what are you doing to aim them?

Can one of you post a picture of what it looks like????

I have a do-it-yourself-clear-headlamp and it is virtually impossible to find an amber lamp for the US stock turnsignal holder.

It appears that the factory clears have a larger hole and therefore larger socket fitting?? I am sure you must be able to get a hold of some 'correct' sockets though, maybe those of Civic etc. will fit??

Picture might help!

Thanks for your response. I have my service department working on it. I will let you know what they come up with to fix it. Thanks
