Would you love your S2000 still if it was electric, had 160hp, 120torque, with 9k rpm (without the same vtec sound), same suspension, same transmission with soft top?

you wouldn't get that roaring vtec sound which makes it more unique than other cars

I think the cold weather in Canada right now is affecting your thinking or taste in cars.

not as much. i wish it had 300hp already... dropping it to less than a miata without losing weight would make it rather boring to drive. if it had a 240hp electric motor fine, or even a 200hp electric motor. but electric motors will generally have gobs of torque--from 0RPM--not 120ft-lbs. that's part of why i'd be ok with one.

The power is enough for the car.

Not going to set your hair on fire, but 0-60 in 5.5 <14 1/4 and 150+mph.

Its enough to start with.

I also LOVE the noise

160bhp and no noise = no joy IMHO.
