This has been discussed numerous times, but I have yet to find an actual "answer" to my questions. That is, do the S2000's have a clearcoat paint. I have 2001 model in New Formula Red. I was trying to remove some scratches using McGuire's Swirl Remover and some color got on the cloth I was using. I believe this means the paint is NOT clearcoat, but I thought all new cars have clearcoat paints? Or maybe solid colors don't have clearcoat.

Anyway, I'm really confused and would just like a simple confirmation on whether it is or isn't. I want to get some zaino and I know they make a different polish for clearcoat and non-clearcoats.

Thanks!

Metallic finish cars have a clearcoat. New Formula Red and White are one solid color coat.
