Default Cleared out headlights

I finally got around to clearing out my headlights this weekend. What a job it was. Removing the bumper and the headlights took about 2.5 hours...maybe because I was being way too careful or maybe because I'm a ninny. The first light took about 3.5 hours and the second was only about 2. IT LOOKS AMAZING!!!!! If you are thinking about it JUST DO IT! It changes the look of the car...In a good way.

I did mine last week also. Definately worth the time, now I just have to find the bulbs.

Yeah I need to get some bulbs too. I hate the bright funky yellow that the bulb emits for the turn signal.

I am in the process of changing the bulbs out. It took me 6 different Autozones and 2 days to find but I picked up some LED wedge style AMBER bulbs for the parking lights. Website for the bulbs are www.jamstrait.com and I think APC makes some also.

With the turn indicator I am painting the bulbs silver but I am masking off the lower part of the bulb so that it still illuminates. If you do not mask of a part the bulb you won't even see the bulb light up. I have heard that you can "DUST" the bulbs (spray a light layer of paint) but I have not tried that. I will post some pics when I am done.
