I bought new HID bulbs for my S2k but I need some info on how to get to the bulbs? Is taking the headlights off the only way to get the bulbs in? and if so how do I go about doing that?

Read the Helm's manual. One wrong move and you could get the shit shocked out of yourself and possibly sustain serious bodily injury or death.

I removed the bulbs from the headlights when baking to clear and paint the lights. DO remove your headlights before trying to replace the bulbs. Honestly, once you've done it a couple times, it takes less than an hour to remove then reinstall your headlights and bumper.

I figured you had to remove the headlights. But how do you do so? Do I need to drop the bumper?

Yup, drop the bumper, go to Ricks2k.com and use their instructions for doing clear-corners. It details removal of the head lights.
