Default that clock on the radio is impossible to see

Ok. I'm turning fifty and the eyesight isn't what it used to be, but day or night, lights on or off, display at low or high, I have to look at the clock for a couple seconds to read it, which is more than annoying. It's dangerous. Anyone found a solution? One more thing is I am too tall to drive the thing with the radio door open as the door cuts into my knee, so it's open the door and stare when I want to know the time. Seems rediculous on a 33k car.

How about going to K-mart, Walmart, or Target and buying a battery operated car clock. You can attach it with Velcro or tape. It would probably stick to the carpet with half a velcro tab, that way your not permanently doing anything to the car.

I saw one clock with in inside temperature sensor and a clock that was indiglo backlit for under $10. The display was probably 3 inches by 1 inch.

I know what you mean about the radio cover digging into your knee. And although I love my S2K with a passion, I think that 33K was spent on performance and not practicality. I could think of 10 things off of my head that could be improved to make the interior a bit more luxurious and practical. But hey, they could of left out the radio...and I'd still love to drive the thing like crazy.

At least you have a clock. I bought my 2000 model in 1999 and still don't have a clock.

Hey. You're turning 50 and I'll be turning 49. Forget about the clock. This car is a time machine for us older folk to go back in time and relive our youth.

Best mod for the clock, just wear a watch.

I have a MY2000 too and don't have a clock.

As a member of the 50+ club I have to wear a watch during the week. On weekends, in the S2K, no watch, no worries about time

Or add some gauges and throw this clock in from Autometer...
