Maybe this is the wrong place to post this but here goes...

What is everyone's obsession with closing their doors like they're made of paper? I was instructed the other day when I got in someone's mustang to pull the handle up and lightly push the door closed.
First off...WTF it's a mustang. Second, who cares. It's what the door is designed to do.
Even in my car I shut the door. I don't slam it with all my might by I do shut it solidly. It just really bugs me when people these days don't even like to hear so much as a click when they shut the door. Unless you're slamming it so hard the glass is in danger...who cares.

Am I wrong here?

 

Pulling up the handle and lightly pushing the door in is a bit too much.

Close the door but just don't slam it.

 

Rule 1 - Don't slam the door.
Rule 2 - Respect other people's properties. (If you can't accept what they ask of you, don't accept the ride from them.)

 

The only person that slams my door is ME! I'm paying for it so I get to slam it.

 

I get kinda nervous when people slam my door, but I do shut the door pretty solidly.
As long as someone doesn't slam the door like "WHAMMMM", I'm okay.

If they slam it too hard, just say "Damnnn!! Can you be anymore gentle?" and give them the dirty look. I guarantee you the next time around they won't slam it.

 

I HATE it when people slam my door!!!!

It pisses me of so much, because they think my door is the same weight as their 500lb door on their landbarge!

 

what gets me is people who grab the window and then slam the door... arrrrrgh

 

I think that being asked to hold up the handle and close the door lightly is crazy when your talking about a Mustang. Maybe a Lambo or something.

 

Its a door! just close it normally.
