one of my dumbass friend tried to be so careful he tried to close the door like 20 times. ok he got in passenger seat and closed the door so lightly that it didn't close all the way. so he opened the door and tried again and again and again and again and again and again...... i was getting to the point where i yelled at him to just slam the ****ing door you dumb bitch! that was really annoying.

 

His car....his rules.

You don't like his rules...... drive your own car.

Funny how the little things in life get such a big rise out of people. Im more pissed when people sit on the CF than slammin the door. The door is designed to be opened and closed, I am pretty sure itll take a nice beating.

My biggest irritation with doors is the pull on the glass to close it move....the glass is not a door pull!!!!!

 

better to reopen and try a lil harder than to slam a door too hard. These peopel are used to older Camrys, I remember u really had to slam those doors for them to shut, this was back when Toyota still made great indestructible cars.
The S though I feel doesnt even need much force, i jsut guide it closed most of the time.
Still, as annoying as the slamming things is, the thing that REALLY gets me is when people use the glass when you dont have a frame around it. 1) I think it's self evident it;s bad for the glass and 2) YOU LEAVE FINGERPRINTS.

 

i do that to avoid static shock. im not sure if its a founded method but i do it all the time

 

maybe his mustang would fall apart if you did slam it?

I find that you don't need much force to close the doors on the S. I just guide it so it gains momentum and let go, the door shuts itself.
