Default Clunk when shifting into first gear?

I noticed that sometimes when shifting into first gear, I can feel this slight "clunk" sensation coming from the bottom of the car... this only happens sometimes when shifting into first from a complete stand still. It does not seem to be temperature dependent. Anyone else experience this?

Schatten:
Nope, it happens even when it goes into first gear smoothly.

pellis2K:
Ah, that sounds exactly like what I'm experiencing. Glad to hear it's "normal". Thanks!

I get a "clunk" when I shift from 1st to 2nd at low speeds (a crawl)... I know that there's no reason to shift to 2nd at such a low speed but I did it a few times... and it "clunks" every time...
