Again, I can be very picky with shit like this, but I got over it. I tried driving with the lights dimmed all the way last night which is fine but found it a little hard to see the radio stations when opening the cover to take a quick look.

Interesting. What the hell would cause that? I can't imagine it didn't come from the dealer like that.

Even though Honda is not a luxury car, their interior is of pretty high quality. Compare their interior to other manufacturers in the same class and you will see the build quality, design, and materials used is superior.
Ya ... the quality ain't bad. I do wish they used less hard plastics, but then this is a 30K car

Nevertheless, the craftmanship isn't bad ... I'm not 100% biased, as I've owned a few Mercs and BMWs in the past as comparisons

Alright, thanks for those pictures... it was exactly what I was talking about. Anyone have any ideas on a quick fix?

Also... as far as the lighting behind the buttons: are they dimmer on the left side (audio control) than on the right side (climate control buttons)??

Is there anyway you can turn your cluster setting to its brightest, and then at night (or when its dark)... would you mind taking a picture of the cluster from the passenger side?

I want to know if this is a general s2000 problem... or just specific, unfortunate s2ks. Thanks.
Press and hold the + button on the left side for about 3 seconds and it'll turn on it brightest setting even with the headlight on = even with the headlight on, the cluster will still be just as bright as it would be with the headlight off.
