The original owner of my S only put 2,800 miles on it in the 4 years he had it. There are plenty of S owners out there that easily average under 1-2k miles a year. For me, the S is strictly a weekend car. I've put 1,700 miles on it in the last 10 months.

I keep trying not to put a lot of miles on my car but at the same time I keep getting the craving to drive it. I mostly try to only drive it short distances after work to the store or stuff like that. If I take it out for my daily commute it will be 70-100 miles.
I've put 1700 miles on it in 4 months somehow still

Had mine for 9 months and put 12k miles on it. Bought it to drive not to look at. No it is not my DD either. Already on its second set of rear tires. Gotta love soft compound tires LOL

Your fine man.its very common to see miles like that.would it be wrong of someone to roll miles back to null if installing a 0 mile motor/trans and suspension??

I bought a Boxster S from a guy who put about 12K miles on it in 5 years. I put 18K on in the next 10 months. I like to *drive* my cars.

I told him that his approach to car ownership was like being married to Charlize Theron and never consummating the marriage. He probably thought *my* approach was like putting a dog collar and leash on her and renting her out to frat parties.

Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

It can be done and is done all the time. It's so easy to roll back a modern electric odometer with the right equipment.
