I went with the Spoon clutch, metal disk and lightweight flywheel and I'm very happy with it! Much more 'grippier' than stock, and the lightweight flywheel definitely changes the characteristics of the car!

However, I'm sure than ACT, Toda, Star etc. also make excellent clutches/flywheels for our cars. I would chk. out the sponsors' boards first and see what they carry. I decided to go with Spoon as I am trying to build a Spoon-spec S2K one piece at a time!

Hi!

I've been lookin' around but haven't found nothin' yet. I used to buy stuff from Options Auto for my 2.5RS turbo & my RSX Type S ( both sold ), but the ACT & Centerforce are out of stock.

Can you give me more info on the Spoon unit; price, where to get it, etc.......... also I was thinkin' about changin' the flywheel but I'm a little scared it will affect drivability (I use the car almost everyday).

Thanx for the info!!!

PS. How much does the Spoon flywheel weight? stock?
Considered the Comptech unit....

IMO -- I wouldn't go with Centerforce.

I believe Ben at Bulletproof Automotive carries ACT and Star clutches -- you may want to chk out his site by clicking on the Site Sponsors link.

BTW, you have a PM.
