That does not necessarily mean the clutch is dying. Perhaps a clutch bleed or a pedal adjustment could help? Just throwing it out there. If you search, there are various tests you can do to test the ability of your clutch.
Yea i just searched about adjusting the engagement point. I'm also changing the oil in a couple days so when I have it decomissioned I'll give the bleed a try. for the helpful info. I didn't know that it was possible to adjust the engagement.

I bought the car new and my OEM clutch lasted for 18k miles.
I've actually known a few people who routinely went through clutches in under 20k miles. I've also seen a Toyota that had been driven well over 100,000 miles without ever having the oil checked or changed. The stuff in the oil pan was more like tar than oil. I'm regularly amused by the things some people do to their cars.

Did you REALLY have to replace your clutch at 18k? If so, what the heck happened?

When we went FI, I went through my back tires quickly, but my stock clutch is still fine. Are you running "high boost" or bigger rear tires?

In regards to the Toyota, I've heard of people like that but never met one in person. Did you actually see the car and the oil pan? If so, that is amazing. Did they actually change the oil? I'd imagine that would take QUITE a flush to get the sludge out. Did the engine keep running once fresh oil was put in?

Sorry for all the questions, these kind of things just amaze me. With all the routine maintenance a lot of us avid s2k owners do, I sometimes think our cars should last 300k miles or more considering people like that get 100k out of theres, lol.

The engine was, for all intents and purposes, dead on arrival. The girl asked a friend of mine to look at her car, "because it was making a funny noise." I wasn't actually there when the car was running, but I did see the engine and the oil pan after it was removed from the engine. My friend pulled the pan just to see what he'd find, and from what I saw, the car had been running for some time without anything I'd consider lubricant in the pan. I have no clue what was holding that poor little engine together.

It left me wondering how long the engine might have lasted had it been given better care.
