Default "Clutch Buzz" TSB about to be done... need opinions.

I've got 1 month of warranty left.

--Headlight is shaking, getting that tightened...

--Clutch Buzz is present I'm pretty sure... should I just buy a high peformance clutch and skip the free stock clutch? I'm pretty sure I'd just be paying for the clutch itself.

--Spark plug recall... was this just for '00-'01?

Thanks guys...

Took mine into the shop for the clutch and plugs today. I also need an alignment for some reason with only 17K miles. I've only got 10 weeks left on the warranty.

Check the TSB sheet for the affected cars, but I think that's right. I'm just getting new plugs for the sake of new plugs. But I'll probably go with some Denso Iridiums soon.

Ask the dealer, some are cool and some suck. A few Acura dealers only charged some additional labor to the 2nd gear grind victims when they had an LSD installed.

i got the clutch replaced and the spark plugs replaced at the dealer for no charge here in socal. Even if your warranty is up, I still think you are eligible for the TSB's. I have a MY01.

You can't beat free as a price to get problems fixed. If you spend your own money I don't think the dealer will rebate you any $'s because you fixed it yourself.

I've got the deacceleration noise in my MY01 that's out of warranty.. does that mean they will replace the clutch for free?

Ive got the same problem with my clutch.
I bought my car used and its an 00.
Every dealer ive spoken to up in the seattle area has told me that since the car is out of warrantee, i am not eligible for TSBs to be performed. If anyone knows a dealer in a different area thats willing to honor a free TSB id really appreciate it!
Man im sick of that clutch buzzing sound. Mines really loud.

My decel buzz is real loud as well, but I've also been told that cars out of warranty are not eligible for free TSBs.

I though that I read in the TSB that cars out of warranty may still be eligible as a "good will gesture" from Honda. So if you have a friendly dealer you may still be able to get it done for free.

question is... Should I replace the stock clutch with ANOTHER stock one? Or get an aftermarket one and spend the dough?

Thanks!
