Default clutch question

I drove an MY04 yesterday and noticed the clutch was so much softer than MY03. I didn't have to apply any pressure at all to push it all the way to the floor. Is this true? or does my clutch need more lubrication?

I own an '05 and coming from an '01 I can say that the clutch is not only softer but soooo much weaker.

Could be the new slave cylinder they put in. They changed the slave clutch cylinder in the 04 to give it a slight delay. This makes the clutch last longer and makes for "smoother" driving. I guess Honda had complaints about clutches going to soon.

If you want to stiffen it up a bit like the older models, you can buy a pre 04 slave cylinder for about $75. It takes any decent mechanic about half an hour to swap them out.
