clutch release
Hello to all,
As a result of many months of deliberation I will be purchasing an s2000 by the end of the year or early 2001. I am a former mr2 owner and have enjoyed a similar cockpit styled driving with a console shift lever. That is why I turned down the boxster. I think the Germans have a lot to learn about driving position and interior design.
However, my fetish are my pedals. I did modify and achieve a nice low clutch release in my mr2. My pedals were taken from rally racing. And if anyone knows about rallying racing, those guys simply tap the clutch gently and quickly and then short throw into gear.
My past experience with Honda through civics, and crx's is that clutch releases have been high. If the s2k is high, my mechanic will be modifying that first week I get it.
So I ask all you s2000 owners, how high or low is the clutch release ?
thanks and this is going to be the start of a wonderful journey
thank you for your time
