Ok, so I should have done more research before buying my '02 about 2 months ago with 15k on it. I've had nothing but problems with it, but when it works, man is it fun to drive.

The latest calamity is that the clutch is slipping really bad. It started as an intermittant problem about a month ago and would generally only happen at speed in 3rd or 5th gear. It has gotten so bad that it slips in all gears now, especially bad in 2nd. I'm going to take it to the dealership next week to get the diagnosis.

In the event that it isn't covered by warranty, what do you guys suggest replacing it with? Should I stay stock or look elsewhere?

 

Stock clutch and flywheel, aftermarket pressure plate seems to be the best way to go.

most people like to keep stock clutch, flywheel, and go for an aftermarket pressure plate, i've heard good things about ACT pressure plate, so that coud be an option for you..

 

i have ACT and i just love it.... much better grip than stock...
