Default clutch and warranty questions

let me beging by saying that i have already searched jsut about everything i could find on the tsb 054, and 055. i bought my 01 used and dont know if the clutch tsb54 was ever done. i do notice a "whirring" noise when the car is sitting in neutral that dissapears when i press the clutch in. i also notice a bit of a buzzing on decelleration. and i have experieced the 1/2 grind several times, . .my questions are 1. would the dealer know if the tsb has already been done or not. 2. i have an AEM intake on my car, should i remove this before taking it in for work? (i dont want to go down there only to be told that the intake voided my warranty and is probably what is causing the problem) im just not sure how loud the noises should be, since i have nothing to compare them to. the decelleration buzz doesnt bother me, but the grind is very annoying, and the whirring noice at idle can get on my nerves a little. any help would be appreciated.

thanks

if i was going in for warranty work, i would return the engine compartment back to stock just so they wouldnt have a possible argument that the warranty was violated.... i doubt that your intake would violate it, but why take a chance.
dealer should be able to tell whether the tsb was done- but why ask? just take it in and ask them to do it
