I'm running the ACT and it seems to be doing well.I've been running it for about 1.5k miles now with no problems.I paid little over $600 for the clutch and PP I'm running the oem flywheel.

Peace

i'm also running the act clutch. heavy duty preassure plate and 6 puck disk. it's rated to handle 383 ft/lbs torque. after break-in it is just a little stiffer than stock but it grabs ten times harder. takes a bit of getting use to but i'm pleased with it. i have the factory flywheel that i had resurfaced. wanted the comptech but couldn't wait . it was on back order at the time. i have about 6000 miles on the clutch.

I have similar set up. I have the heavy duty ACT Pressure plate plus OEM clutch with factory flywheel.

Clutch travel will differ from what you're used to, but once you get used to it, it's very nice to have the engine engage stronger and quicker with the heavy duty pressure plate. The point at where the clutch engages is lower to the ground when releasing up on the clutch and the engagement is solid.

I've very happy with it and I bought mine from Hardtopguy. Well worth the upgrade. This is one of those upgrades that enhances the feel and control of this car...like the 4.56 gears upgrade.

I don't have experience of them... but it seems that most people tend to lean towards the ACT clutch.

Right on. Clutch will engage a little sooner (somewhere in the middle instead of near top as you release the clutch pedal)

a little stiffer feel than stock. just right.

the HDSS uses a street disc which is the same as the OEM disc.
