Enjoy! I couldn't imagine having to put such an expensive car like ours in hibernation for so long, but it would be foolish to risk it on the slick stuff.

What's your daily driver?

Be careful what beater you buy. I bought a $2,000 1988 Accord. Lots of ash trays but no cup holders.

I suggest getting up a little earlier and drinking your coffee before leaving the house. Then you can be very alert on the road and not have any distractions.

Are you kidding? I couldn't imagine not drinking coffee while driving my beater.

Finally had the rubber spacers removed today and noticed the difference immediately. These cars don't have much suspension travel to begin with, I know, but every half-inch helps. (Or so my girlfriend keeps telling me!)

Oh yeah, and this car friggin' ROCKS with the topdown in Spring! And I ain't just saying that because a cute Russian girl complimented me on it today and two other hotties made second/third glances either! Said girlfriend was less impressed, though.

Peace

tim,

What color did you get?

I live in Houston right now but am actually in Atlanta, or should say was in Atlanta this week visiting family for Spring Break. I'm staying over in the Brookhaven area but will be leaving early tomorrow morning to head back to Texas.

I must say, after living here for five years during junior high and high school, that Atlanta has MUCH more fun roads to traverse on a daily basis than flat ass Houston. You are blessed with numerous twists and turns and ups and downs on almost every street around town. I was quite surprised to see the four S2000's I did see while I was in town this week. The second day I was in town I saw a Silverstone with the top down traveling down Osborne between Windsor and Peachtree. Today I saw a Formula Red with the top down at Phipps Plaza and out near Northpoint. Could have been the same couple...who knows?

Friday and Saturday(today) were PERFECT conditions for top down weather. Thursday night and all day Friday I was out in Athens visiting friends; rolling around there with the top down will get you more stares from ultra-fine southern college girls than you can imagine. If you get a chance I highly recommend the short drive up there.

Have fun with the S and definitley get a beater if you plan on keeping the car for more than a few years.

My S is silver with the (factory?) front and rear spoilers. I would have preferred one without them, but they don't look that bad.

I live about 10 minutes from Buckhead near Morningside and Midtown, but I spent most of yesterday on the southside. I did see a couple in a red S2000 on I-75 coming into downtown, so it could've been the same car you saw at Phipps.

On any given day, I see at most just one of these cars on the road besides my own. Add to that how many more Porsches you see out there and you soon realize how rare our cars really are. Good stuff.

Oh yeah, and I know what you mean about the female population in college towns like Athens. Makes me wanna become a professor!!!
