Thats correct I did some research, but the new Ultimate Spec Circuit master is compatible with the edfc.

You can make the EDFC comptiable with just about any adjustable shock that has the top mount adjuster with a little fabrication.

I would run Bilstein just because of there reputation. Some of the top tuner japan use Bilstein coilover (there specification) on there car.

What are modifications necesary to do this?

I would be using Ohlines coilovers..

The pss9's seem to be a better all around coilover for a daily with light track duty, is that indeed the case?

meth, I think you need to set your PSS9's on a harder setting and get the car aligned. I've had my set for a year and really like it for both the street and track, the handling and ride are better than stock. With the PSS9 set on the stiffest setting (1) you will definitely have a stiffer ride than you need on the street. I run mine on 8 for daily driving.
