Default Coincidence

Well the subject of S2k dash bubbling has come up numerous times on s2ki. Tonite I was riding with my friend in her 07 eclipse and yes I noticed bubbling on her dash as well. The eclipse dash material looks identical to the s2k dash material. After all the debate of what causes s2000 dash bubbleing ex. cleaning products, sunlight, ect. I wonder if the problem is the material its self? I know this is only partialy relvent to s2ks but I thought I would through it out here. Luckily (knock on wood) my dash hasn't done it yet so my best guess is sun exposure causes it b/c she doesn't use cleaning products on her dash but she does leave her car outside me on the other hand garage kept. So im starting a discussion pertaining to bubble dash s2k owners. Tell about the serverity of the dash bubble, products used and exposure to sunlight maybe we will find a common thread.

People say the foam under the vinyl wasn't properly laid during production, thus leaving air bubbles. I suppose when the sun hits and heats up the air inside, the pressure builds and starts to bubble.
