Gunk on my dash.. (What Agent?)
There used to be some double sided sticker on my dash, and velcro tape on the dash. After years, taking it off leaves this "sticky glue" on the dash. Each spot has a heavy coat of glue that is about a silver dollar size.
What agent would you use to take this off? I do have an extra dash, but I rather spend 4 hours of my life not changing a new dash
Any help is appreciated

citrus based cleaners would be my first choice- like goo gone. you could use wd-40, but it might stain.
xenit is another product that i have had good results with...

in fact, you should test any product on the lower part of the dash first to be sure it does not stain.
i would prob do the stains and then rub down the entire dash with whatever product you use so that you have a uniform look. always follow up with a good vinyl product (vinylex, raggtopp for vinyl, 303, etc.)-
