Default Cold Air Itake

I need to know what you guys think on which is the best cold air intake, or best for the money. I was asking about the RM Racing on a group buy but some members told me not to get that one.

Any suggestions

IMO the car comes with an effective intake needing only one simple improvement and members of this board have invented a very effective solution at a low cost... the heating of intake air is effectively eliminated with the installation of an insulating mat.

for a relatively good price you can also pick up an AEM CAI. I have this intake and am very overjoyed with the performance and sound of the intake. Also it comes in three colors for you to choose from. Its also one of the cheaper options to choose from considering the Mugen CAi and the Spoon CAI. However, in the end the intake that you like the most should be the one you should choose.

Another kudos to the AEM Cai! I also have one and it definitely gives a little more low-end torque. Much easier to move the car off the line now. And the sound at WOT and in VTEC is pure ecstacy..

I have to say the AEM CAI but not for the performance gain but more for the sound. cdelena also provides a good point though. If you want a loud sounding intake get the AEM if you don't care about the sound then I would go with cdelena's solution.

DMENACE: I believe Injen intake is best bang for the buck from an intake system for the s2000.

I don't have one, but I'm thinking about it. I would get the AEM CAI...
