Colors: which ones are durable & easy to maintain?
depends if you are picky or lazy. this is my first silver. having owned datk green and white this is the easiest to maintain.almost zero maintenance.
black looks best clean but gets dirty the fastest. shows dings and scratches the most
white is as bad as black.shows every little speckle from the road. you'll be bug and tarring all day.
red fades
yellow is cop magnet and harder to sell and match paint. huh huh huh i said hard.
suzuka is a girls color no offense.
silverstone is nice but a sebring looks just like it when dirty.
i dont even wash my car and i can't tell a difference after i do.

I'd say a metalic because not only does it hide swirls but it also hides things like streaks, dust, and all the other things that are almost unavoidable if you drive the car daily. That being said, you will never get the WOW of a freshly cleaned Black.
Definitely what others are saying about the metallics, especially the silvers, but, DO NOT GET WHITE! You are screwing yourself if you get white, it shows just as bad as on black.
