I've been reading the past 2 threads and basically shaking my head...it's still shaking. Schatten, as much as I respect your numerous contributions to this community and your loyalty to Tim as good friend, your comments can't go without some comment - at least not by me!
Nothing was done deceptive before
I would call 3 bad checks very decpetive, wouldn't you???
...and unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding that has taken over a year to patch up
There was no misunderstanding, Tim owed Spyderfish money and either didn't have it or for some reason wasn't going to repay it in a timely manner. The issue was very well understood. I mean come on, don't insult our intelligence. BTW, you have a great future as a political spin man.

Spyderfish, unless Tim can make and keep some sort of repayment commitment, your best option is to sue in small claims court. You may have to go to Atl to do it but you may also be entitled to those expenses as part of your claim. I would at least check it out if it were my money.

No matter what, I hope it works between Spyder and Tim so that they can both move on and put this behind them.

Good luck.

johnnydev - I understand your concerns, but this is nothing new to add to the issue, nor is it constructive in any way to resolve the issue. Its more of a personal jab towards myself, feeling you had to say something, more than providing insight towards the solution to this issue. Clouding the issue anymore than it has will go no where.

This post was written as a simple explaination, with a few announcements and a promise to work this out towards a solution. That's what we're doing right now. So, my choices are to waste time responding to the personal jabs and defend the issue, or actually take care of it.

I know that I'm gonna get in $hit over this, but I would like some answers.

This is an open board, as c3 has stated. Also, c3 has stated that we can "post our views and opinions" and yet when we actually excercise that right, as stated by c3, the thread is locked. I am not meaning to cause $hit, I would just like an adult, mature answer from the mods, c3 specifically, as to why they are stating one thing and practicing another. As a user of this site, I think that i am entitled to make that request, and I have made it in open so all can see the reply and hopefully be put at ease by the said reply.

Schatten, it's cool. The "personal jab" was an attempt at adding a little levity and was meant to be tongue-in-cheek. You are obviusly trying to get this to a resolution and I don't want to take away from that. I just felt you minimized the facts as I unserstood them and that calling you on that did add insight. But whatever, we don't have to agree.

I know if somebody took $3500 from me I would go to their house and kick their door down, I wouldn't be sitting in this forum complaining. Sounds like both parties involved have some problems...
