May I make a suggestion?

As this board becomes more commercialized there are bound to be many buisness disputes between members and sponsors.

Instead of individual threads rehashing all the details and trying to sway public sentiment one way or the other, perhaps c-three can create a "better buisness bureau" type section where people can lodge their complaint about a sponsor and it stays on record for all who care to see until some resolution is found. This way people considering purchasing products from a sponsor can check how many complaints are lodged against them (if any) and act accordingly.

I feel this would provide a good service to the S2000 community while sparing us all the seedier details of everyone's dealings here.

Just an idea.

Not a bad idea. But unfortunately both C3 and I have a tall list of todo's right now.

Rylan, If you would quit driving your car around the track like a maniac all the time, your work list wouldn't be so long!

There is a problem with Bieg's idea:

Sponsors pay for advertising.

In this case, they'd potentially be paying for the cost of *negative* advertising.

Why should they pay for it?

That being said, I think it's somewhat telling for Tim to quit sponsoring s2ki at this point in time. It almost smells like it's punishment for C3 of all people, who's been the most reasonable one of the lot.

Spyder, my suggestion is this:

Get that bounced check from your bank any way you can, and put it in your sig until you get paid back.

This is essentially what a shopkeeper would do to you if you bounced *them* a check. It's not slander, because, res ipso loquitor (it speaks for itself).

Do this, and you'll never have to mention it again.
