Show me another 240 HP engine that weighs in at less or even the same as the F20.
There are plenty of smaller motors with more horsepower

Isn't under/over steer a simple function of alignment? Shouldn't you be able to dial in any over/under steer you want?

I could be totally off there...but if I'm right, then its like saying you don't like a TV because the colors are too bright...just adjust them down to your liking.

The first rule about any sliding is that you are out of control, period
Actually, steve c, I don't disagree with you at all, nor would I want to put this (or any other car) in a slide on the road. I don't think that is appropriate behavior on a public highway. But it _is_ important to understand how the car feels just before it does that, and also learn how to control the car should you make a mistake and find yourself in the situation. Especially folks who haven't spent any time on a track (and I admit, it's been 25 years since I did any track time) or who have only ever driven FWD cars before this car.

So I will not take offense at your rather blunt post, since clearly I didn't make my position clear.

...Not to mention the RX7's rotary engine which produces 255hp and from what I've read is just over 200lbs with turbo chargers, though I'm not 100% on the weight figure. But I do know first hand that the engine blocks is tiny. Of course its a completely different species, but it weighs less and generates both more maximum hp and torque.

As already pointed out, I'm not in it for the 'art', but for the results.. anyway, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
It's more than 20% but you are right. The F20C wieghs 326 lbs. (.73hp / pound). The LS6 wieghs 497 lbs. (.81hp / pound). It's the power/displacement that is more surprising, though. As we all know the F20C makes 120hp / liter...that is compared to 73hp / liter for the LS6.

Arent' a lot of the accidents due to loss of control in the rain on the S02's as opposed to dry conditions with the same tires?

My observation...

Ciao,

All I'm saying about any of this is,be careful when gettin back in the gas in the middle of a corner because in the blink of a eye, you'll be lookin south on a northbound road.
