Commuting in an S2K
45 miles to the airport, once a week. then rental car for the next 4 days, usually Impala (urghh) and frequently more and more prius....makes me appreciate the S even more.
took it to LA this week instead of flying, got 980 mls on it now, and VTEC'ed for the first time. 5 is a nightmare. every day.

I can't find a parking spot where my car would be all alone at my work, so i drive my pickup 40 miles round trip, and drive the s to pick up groceries...

Taken at my gym this morning, just staggering, probably another ten spots closer that were bigger.
Comfort should not be an issue. Gas mileage is merely OK. Expect to fill up about every 220 miles. One thing that makes the car so great during aggressive driving (shifter/clutch) I find to be a little jerky in slow around town driving. I finally decided to park the S in the garage and buy a Jeep Cherokee as a driver.
The S2K is my daily driver and my commute to work is 97 miles round trip.
I live just north of Santa Barbara and most of my drive is down the coast on US 101 towards Ventura. My '06 S2K already has ~40,000 trouble-free highway miles on the odometer, and I've probably averaged about 26MPG at 75MPH.
I actually like "going to work" because the drive is against the traffic with some long open stretches of freeway. Thanks to a good radar detector, knowledge of CHP's habits, a little common sense and lot of luck... it's often the highlight of my day.
I'm 6'1" tall and the S2K is plenty comfortable for my daily commute and long drives.
