inlinePro kit is a good deal, but keep in mind you need to buy new engine management.. AEM EMS is popular choice, but costs almost $1400 new.

I agree. That gets the price of that complete system around 6K also. And according to Comptech after speaking with them again, you *do* have to have a recode although they do send the inline ECU device with the setup. I still don't get why they won't give the consumer the option of choosing whether or not to go with the intercooler. $4500 bucks was fine with me, but even at the discount + the recode with aftercooler brings it to around $6500. That's more than I want to spend. Oh well, maybe the horsepower fairy will stop by the garage.

I have a Comptech superchager with AC on my MY04. I like the kit. But IMHO...it is not worth $6000.

I think the reason they don't offer the non aftercooler kit is because they have to retune a completely new map for it.
